Sic! Publishers is an independent publishing house established in 1993. It specialises in publications related to the social sciences and the humanities; interdisciplinary studies of an essay character are among its favourite publications. Both Polish and translated contemporary quality fiction which distinguishes itself by its originality of the subject formulation and boldness of form is within the Publishers’ range of interests. The introduction of the works by Jean Baudrillard to the Polish market, who has not been known here before, can be numbered among visible successes of the Publishing House. A part of the offer put forward by Sic!, as a publisher of the mainstream, is permanently devoted to the problems connected with minority issues which is reflected in publications of books related to feminist, gay or Jewish subject matter.
